The Mass. Modern house nestles in the trees adjacent to a pristine lake in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. We took the original 1970’s house down to the concrete foundation and reimagined it as a 4 bedroom family retreat suitable for year round use.

The main living area maximizes lake views and solar heat gain in the winter. Careful arrangement of apertures and a blend of indoor/outdoor space aids with natural ventilation in summer months without the need for air conditioning.
